The Health Science Track requires 38-43 s.h. of work for the major. It provides a preapproved plan of study that combines a generalized health background with a varied choice of emphasis areas: multidisciplinary science, entrepreneurial, aging, global health, cultures of healing, and writing for the sciences. Students who choose this track also have the option of proposing their own health science-related emphasis area to the faculty advisory committee.

Important Notes for Health Science Track students
- Maximum two class overlap if applying courses to a double major.
- No major coursework can be counted toward a minor.
- A student earning an Interdepartmental Studies major must earn a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit from courses offered by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, thus satisfying the CLAS Residence requirement.
- Aging Emphasis students may not earn the minor or Certificate in Aging and Longevity Studies.
- Entrepreneurial Emphasis students may not earn the Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management.
- Global Health Emphasis students may not earn the minor or Certificate in Global Health Studies.
- All internships must be approved by the Academic Coordinator.
